Pure cotton, always
Breathable mulmul, cotton-silk and chanderi — never synthetic blends that trap heat.
Founded by artist Archana Sharma, The Cotton Studio began with a single block-printing table and a belief that everyday ethnic wear could feel handmade, breathable and quietly luxurious.
In 2014, artist Archana Sharma opened a tiny boutique in the lanes of Jaipur with a handful of hand-block-printed kurtas. Every piece was cut, printed and finished by local artisans — many of them women supporting their families through craft.
Some of the studio's most defining chapters were shaped in Ahmedabad — Gujarat's storied home of block-printing and textiles — where Archana deepened the craft, refined the prints and grew the atelier into what it is today.
A decade later, that same hand-finished spirit travels across India through our online studio. We still use pure cottons, natural dyes and prints stamped one block at a time.
Breathable mulmul, cotton-silk and chanderi — never synthetic blends that trap heat.
Every motif is carved into wood and stamped by hand, so no two pieces are ever truly identical.
We work with karigars across Rajasthan — keeping age-old craft, and the families behind it, thriving.
Direct from our atelier to you — no middlemen, so heirloom craft stays within reach.
We hand-pick pure cotton, mulmul and chanderi from trusted mills in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Carved wooden blocks stamp each motif in natural dyes, one repeat at a time.
Local tailors cut and finish every kurta, set and anarkali for a comfortable, breathable fit.
Each piece is checked, pressed and packed in our Jaipur studio before it ships to you.
